What is the Database Developer's Competition

We all have heard claims about which development tools are the best
and the quickest.  The 1992 Developer's Competition is an event
which will put these claims to the test.  The competition is
scheduled to take place October 9th and 10th, 1992 and will bring
together 100 developers from all over the United States.  


Benefits of Sponsorship

      * 120 of the best developers from the United States will be
      competing in this event.  This is your chance to present your
      latest software development tools to this group.

      * This event will receive press coverage, and widely known
      personal computer magazines will be covering the event. We
      have committments from Data Based Advisor, Midnight
      Engineering and North Carolina Public Television and much

      * Press releases to the business media throughout the U.S will
      identify the sponsors.

      * Corporate MIS representatives from several Fortune 500
      companies will be attending and judging the event.  MIS
      representatives from a national accounting firm will be
      tabulating and auditing the ballots.

      Competition proceedings to be published and distributed at the
      competition.

Sponsor Levels and Benefits

Level 1 - Sponsor.  $1,500 + 20-100 copies of product.  Prominent
mention in all publicity, before, during, and after the
competition.  Exhibition space.  Up to 5 firm members may attend
the awards dinner.  Product and company profile in proceedings. 
Full page ad in directory and proceedings ($300 value).  Product
displayed at "Sponsor" Table.  Products given away as awards.  
1000+ North Carolina Developers Directory on diskette.

Level 2 - Exhibitor.  $750 + 10-100 copies of product.  Exhibition
space provided.  2 firm members attend free.  Product and company
profile in proceedings.  Half page ad in directory and proceedings
($150 value).  Products given away as awards.  1000+ North Carolina
Developers Directory on diskette.

Level 3 - Product Donor.  Any amount of product.  Product and
company profile in proceedings.  Products given away as awards. 
Prize selection information given back to the sponsor.
